![]() Mayors can now set their team stance inside their Team settings.We’ve pushed the cadence for Contested Territory back one week to give time for Teams to review this new system and sign up for Competitive play.We’ve heard the community feedback and have wanted ourselves to help Teams define themselves as Competitive or Casual, so we’ve developed a system that allows Teams to set their stance to attract players with the same mindset as well as sign up for each CT and lock those Team rosters in to acknowledge and help address some of the Team griefing that we’ve seen happening.Skulls also trigger a stacking slow aura around Phayze, which reduces the attack speed of all Monkey Towers until the boss is defeated.Note that the warp is proportional to track length, so shorter warps on short tracks and prepare for startling warps on longer tracks! When each skull is reached, Phayze rebuilds the Reality Shield and warps forward, while opening a tear in the fabric of reality that allows for all Bloons to spawn further along the track.When Radar Jam occurs Phayze also pulls all Bloons forward to Phayze’s Location and grants them the Camo property.Phayze triggers a Radar Jam every 24 seconds - this restores its Camo property if this has been lost & for 12 seconds grants Phayze immunity to any form of camo removal as well as disabling all shared Camo-granting buffs from towers.Monkeys can destroy this shield to reduce Phayze’s movement speed back to normal again Phayze has the Camo property and spawns with a Reality Shield that increases its movement speed while the Shield is active.We knew camo would be a focus but the movement and entry migration proved to be essential as Phayze’s design took shape. As existing Bosses continue to be tuned and refined, designing new Bosses becomes increasingly complex to find both visual and functional differences that truly mix up play styles, approach to eco, and Monkeys used.Fixed bug where the boss tower doesn't spawn sometimes. ![]() Fixed music playing twice when you lose. Fixed regrow loading up a free health point (still happens sometimes, but much less often). Normalised movement so pressing 2 movement keys at once no longer makes you move 50% faster, as a result of this the base speed has been buffed from 6 to 8, and upgrading speed now gives you 0.5 speed instead of 0.4. You can no longer brush past projectiles and avoid damage. Flowers no longer act as obstacles to projectiles. The plasma monkey damage per shot has been increased to 2 from 1. Dart & Super Monkeys are now much more accurate. Difficulties (easy, medium, hard) each difficulty has a different boss monkey which spawns in the final round, you receive less cash the higher the difficulty, and tougher difficulties have more rounds (20 in easy, 25 in medium, 30 in hard). Moabs have larger hitboxes, move at half the speed of a normal bloon and are not affected by regrow, but they gain 25 health per upgrade! MOABS! Players can now upgrade the "MOAB Health" stat to become a moab. The sun temple no longer spawns in endless mode, but sun avatars have a random chance of spawning after round 30. Endless Mode is now out of beta, starting from round 40, tower damage will slowly increase. Slowing towers such as arctic wind now slow you down to half of your current max speed, as opposed to half of the starting out speed. The AI can place road spikes and glue on the track, these have also been added to the monkey's arsenal. Bloon Abilities! Super speed, fortification and regrow amp are new abilities that can be bought and used once per round. Multiplayer! A new game mode in which one player plays as a monkey placing down towers, and the other player plays as the bloon and tries to get to round 20! Lowered range of tack shooter to actually match btd 6 ZOMG added once the moab health reaches >250ġ2. Spike nerfed to only do half the damage and hitbox has also been made slightly smaller (still subject to change)ġ1. Moab now moves at 0.65x the bloon speed instead of 0.5x, also slightly lowered cost but decreased effectiveness of speedboost on it to encourage the tanky but slow playstyleĩ. Added time limit for bloon per round to avoid AFK players (resets if the bloon dies)Ĩ. Upped super monkey cost (still subject to change)ħ. Altered abilities to be more powerful early on but they now give less and less multiplier the more they are upgradedĦ. Added option to mute music in main menuĥ. Fixed private matches not starting if players both try to join too quicklyĤ. Corrosive glue no longer does damage after you finish the roundģ. Glue projectile no longer passes through wallsĢ.
